St Clements church at Rodel dates from the 16th Century and was commissioned by Alasdair Crotach, the 8th chief of the Clan Macleod of Harris and Dunvegan. Sandstone carvings display magnificent decorative designs and sculptures. The Macleod Chief who built the chapel was interred here at his death in 1547. His arched tomb is decorated with Latin carvings of the 12 Apostles. Entry is free and a climb up to the top of the tower is worthwhile for the fantastic view.
